The setup for multimodal recordings of string quartets at Casa Paganini (Music Conservatory of Genoa). Synchronized recordings of audio, motion capture data (using Qualysis) and biometric data have been experimented and consolidated in the period January-April 2011. Recordings with the Quartetto di Cremona and with music conservatory students are planned on 12 and 13 July 2011.
Experimental setting for audience dynamic recordings during concert of Quartet di Cremona in St Germain Church in Geneva (UNIGE-CH). Two pieces of music were judged by 12 music lovers: the 2nd movement of the String Quartet no. 3 in A major op. 41 by R. Schumann and the 3rd movement of the String Quartet no. 4 in C major by B. Thermographic acquisition at the concert season at Opera House of Genoa Teatro Carlo Felice, at the piano concert, May 2010. The picture shows a still frame extracted from the data.
This picture shows the complex set-up that was being tested at the Barcelona technical meeting. Specifically, we developed a protocol for the synchronized acquisition of MOCAP data with 3 Qualysis cameras, Polhemus, wireless accelerometers, multichannel audio and thermal camera (13-18 September 2010).
Recording experiment done as a proof of concept for testing the "SIEMPRE method" for the definition, recording, synchronization and visualization of multimodal recordings during the SIEMPRE Technical Meeting held in Belfast (26-March-2011).
